TouchType2 tightly integrates the voice and text that compose a dictation. TouchType2 creates a permanent tie between the voice files and associated reports created from them. Transcriptionists can automatically create reports directly from the voice files in their queue. After submitting reports, Healthcare Providers and QA staff can listen to the original voice file from which a patient report was created to compare the voice with the text.

Customization

In addition, TouchType2 employs a multiple document interface view. This view allows administrators to display and manage multiple accounts simultaneously. Through the use of horizontal and vertical tab views, all work spaces are fully customizable. Users can drag and drop screens to varying locations, essentially rearranging the workspace to create their own 'preferred' experience based on their needs to optimize productivity.

Data Integrity

TouchType2 goes beyond client side configuration and utilizes Server Based Preferences. These Server Based Preferences in effect allow business owners and transcription managers to ensure data integrity. Customized report creation screens identify the required, preferred and optional data for an account. Client side data validation guarantees that no information is missing in the metadata for a report.

Data Warehouse

TouchType2 uses a robust patient and order repository. Patient demographics, report routing slips, study descriptions, etc. can all be created and stored in our comprehensive database. All of the tools required to create, manage, edit, and merge clinical data are available through keyboard shortcuts as well as single click menu options within the application.

TouchType2 also provides an advanced search tool which allows Medical Transcriptionists to find dictations and transcribed reports within MDinTouch's comprehensive data warehouse.
